Volunteers
are an important part of the Student Organic Farm mission. We
accept and invite volunteers year round! If you would like to
volunteer, please complete this application form and email it to msufarm
@ msu.edu, or call us ahead of time on the Farm Phone at

A little about what to expect...
When you come to the farm you can expect to
participate in activities such as weeding, hoeing, planting, harvesting
- just about anything. When you set up a time to volunteer we
should be able to give you a good idea of what types of jobs and
projects are happening at the farm. You should expect to be working
outside, so pay attention to the weather as you're leaving home
and dress appropriately (layers are good). It is helpful if you
bring your own water, sunscreen, and a hat. You may also want
to bring items such as boots, raingear, and a snack.
